Fathers & Families Coalition of America , Inc. is supporting the involvement with The Mablean Ephriam Foundation Honoring Unsung Fathers (H.U.F.) Awards and Scholarship Brunch was designed to celebrate fathers in our community who provide the love, support and nourishment for their children and often go unnoticed.
On June 21, 2009, we want to celebrate fathers. We need your support. Fathers are nominated from the community. We need you to nominate a father in one of the five categories:
1. Solo Warrior (single parent)
2. Love Cares (married father living in the home)
3. Fatherhood Forever (divorced father continuing relationship with his children)
4. Village Dad (non-biological parent who has stepped into the role of father)
5. Living Legacy (elder father who is a role model for other fathers)
TO NOMINATE A MAN IN YOUR LIFE WHO FITS ONE OF THESE CATEGORIES, Log on to http://www.hufawards.com to obtain nomination form. Deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, May 22, 2009. The MEF also supports students who seek to attain a higher education. Scholarships awarded to 2009 high school graduates and to persons between the ages of 19 and 35 years old who initially delayed college, but are now pursuing that dream.

Awards and Scholarships will be presented on June 21, 2009 at the Mablean Ephriam Foundation 7th Annual Honoring Unsung Fathers (H.U.F.) & Scholarship Brunch at Marriot Hotel (Downtown Los Angeles).
